The Town administers various licences and permits for businesses, individuals and organizations to ensure public health and safety, consumer protection, fairness in business practices, and quality control of service.
The Town uses an online permitting system, Cloud Permit. Applications and fees can be submitted through this online portal.

Licensing of Short-Term Rental Accommodations (STRA)
The Town is currently finalizing the STRA By-law and application process. Staff will be conducting communications and education initiatives to inform all residents of this new system.
