- Feb 14th - Join Dennis Layton, a Senior IT Tech Architect for ‘A Gentle Introduction to Artificial Intelligence (AI)’ - By now, most of us have heard about Artificial Intelligence (AI)—but what exactly is it, and how might it shape the future for us, our children, and our grandchildren? This presentation offers a gentle, non-technical introduction.
- Feb 21st - Join Greenwood Coalition for a story stick workshop. This workshop invites you to wrap a stick to visually reflect your memories, feelings and the stories of your life. It uses a colourful array of yarn, string and textures.
- Feb 28th - Join us for an intriguing talk with Laura Renairi, exploring "Northumberland on the Nile: Northumberland's Connections to Ancient Egypt." Discover the fascinating links between our region and ancient civilizations, as Laura shares captivating stories and insights.
Bewdley Book Club - Bewdley Branch - Wednesday, February 12th - 6:30 p.m.
- Join us at the Bewdley Branch where we get together and discuss our latest book of choice: "Hello, Beautiful" by Ann Napolitano.
- Registration is Required, so please talk to branch staff if interested!
Adult Craft Night - Bewdley Branch - Wednesday, February 19th - 6:00 p.m.
- Join us at the Bewdley branch to create your own negative space painting!
- No experience necessary. All materials required will be provided.
- Space is limited and registration is required. Please contact your local branch or go online to register.

Teen Hangout - Cobourg Library - Wednesday, February 26th - 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
- Bring your friends to a dedicated space for teens only.
- Hang out, meet new people, play a board game or a Nintendo Switch game on the big screen, participate in an activity, or enjoy the free WIFI.

Sparkling Seahorse - Take & Make Kits - Bewdley and Gores Landing - Available Starting February 1st during Branch Hours.
- Stop by the Library and pick up your Sparkling Seahorse kit. Make this glittering seahorse to brighten up your day.
- Each kit contains the materials to create one seahorse. While Supplies last.
Family Literacy Day Scavenger Hunt - All Library Locations - Monday, January 27th to Sunday, February 2nd
- Celebrate Family Literacy Day with the Cobourg Public Library!
- Bring the family to complete the literacy tasks to be entered into a random draw for a chance to win a literacy prize pack.
- Limit of one entry per family.
- Families welcome. Drop-in Program.
- Build your own Arctic Maze with Fiero Code - and win!
- Theme: Game Development
- Languages: Code Blocks
- Project: Build a maze game using Code Blocks.
- Two age categories: 8–12 years and 13–18 years.
- There are 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in each category, for a total of 6 winners, with a chance to win Airpods, a bluetooth speaker, or a mechanical keyboard.
Mother Goose - Cobourg Library - Mondays - 10:00 a.m. - Rotary Room
- Join us for an hour of rhymes, songs, and oral stories that are perfect for bonding with your baby in this 10-week program.

- Each week we will explore a different theme through stories, songs, and a craft.

- Join the Bewdley Branch for a special storytime and activities in partnership with Northumberland EarlyON Child and Family Centres.

- Create your own tic-tac-toe game using popsicle sticks.
- Play tic tac toe with your friends or give it as a Valentine's Day gift.

Library Chess Club - Cobourg Library - Tuesdays - 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. - Reading Room
- Drop by the Reading Room for a game of chess!
- Pieces and boards will be available.
- All ages and skill levels welcome.
- Need basic technology assistance? Bring your device for tech help and join students from TCS in the Reading Room.

- Winner must be able to come to the Cobourg Library location to pick up their prize.
