Our team

The Economic Development staff is made up of experienced professionals who have the resources needed to support Cobourg businesses. We work with key partners to help keep businesses strong and productive whether starting, relocating or expanding a business.

We focus on business retention and expansion. Our corporate calling program is one example of our commitment. Our Mayor and top-level staff personally visit our industries on a regular basis.

Our local Northumberland Manufacturers' Association keeps industries up-to-date on any new funding and training programs.

As a member of Ontario East Economic Development Commission Cobourg is amongst 200 communities promoted as a centre for investment and business growth in Eastern Ontario. It is one point of contact for site selectors to investigate the possibilities of locating in this area.
