OUTDOOR PATIO PERMITS
PLEASE NOTE PREVIOUSLY PERMITTED OUTDOOR PATIOS AND TEMPORARY OUTDOOR PATIOS REQUIRE ANNUAL RENEWALS AND ARE NOT AUTOMATIC.
If you already have an existing, previously approved, Outdoor Patio as part of your business, with no extensions to the space AND your Outdoor Patio is NOT on municipally owned property, you do not need additional Municipal Approval, providing you comply with all existing Federal, Provincial, and Health Department Guidelines and Requirements.
TEMPORARY OUTDOOR PATIO EXTENSIONS
RESTAURANTS AND BARS CAN APPLY FOR A TEMPORY EXTENSION TO THEIR OUTDOOR AREAS.
The AGCO has given municipalities the authority to extend Alcohol Licence for Temporary Outdoor Patio Extensions.
Should you wish an extension to your Outdoor Patio, you WILL require Municipal Approval.
Restaurants that wish an extension to their Outdoor Patios on Municipal or Private Property, will need to complete and submit the following Application with requirements and acknowledgement that they have read and understood the applicable documentation to obtain Municipal Approval.
Operating schedule: March 1 through to October 15, of current year.
