What are Infill Guidelines?
Residential and commercial infill is the construction of new developments in existing neighbourhoods. Infill Guidelines help address and guide:
- Where different size and style of homes should be located
- How developments should be designed to support compatibility with existing homes and or commercial buildings in the neighbourhood
- Standards for quality development that improve the area
Town of Cobourg Infill Guidelines
The Town of Cobourg is undertaking a review of the municipality's Comprehensive Zoning By-law No. 85-2003 to reflect new policy and regulatory initiatives of the Province of Ontario. Once approved, the Planning Department will develop an Infill Guideline document for neighbourhoods in the Town of Cobourg.
