Cobourg, ON (February 3, 2025) – The Town of Cobourg would like to advise residents that flags across the municipality will be lowered to half-staff in honour of the passing of former Town of Cobourg employee, Nancy Carol Kerr.

Nancy was a dedicated Town of Cobourg employee for 25 years. During her time with the Town she was a welcoming and familiar face in the Finance department as well as the local assessment office when the Town of Cobourg managed property assessments. Nancy committed significant time supporting her fellow colleagues as a member and president of Union Local 25.

In her spare time, Nancy supported the Northumberland Players, helping to make costumes for their productions. Her colleagues and good friends cherish the memories of sharing a laugh with Nancy as they worked collaboratively to overcome challenges. She will be remembered as a good friend, a respectful colleague and a compassionate person.
