Cobourg Transit is operating regular hours
Cobourg, ON (February 16, 2023) – The Town of Cobourg would like to advise residents of municipal closures and local activities being planned for this weekend.

Cobourg Transit will be running on its regular schedule on Monday, February 20. Please note that calls for transit service will commence that day at 7 a.m. (instead of 6:15 a.m.). Transit bookings are also accepted via Pick-Up Application as well as online.

Free Indoor Public Skate
Cobourg Community Centre, Monday February 20, 12 to 2 p.m.
Lace up your skates for a free Family Day Skate at the Cobourg Community Centre’s Bowl arena on Monday, February 20.
Explore History with the Heritage Hunt
Take part in the Town of Cobourg’s Heritage Hunt. This family-friendly activity explores historic areas around Cobourg. Tour the Town at your leisure with our illustrated guidebook. Learn about incredible heritage places and stories while answering questions at points of interest along the way, then submit your answers for a chance to win gift cards to fantastic local downtown businesses.

‘Art of Wellness’ Experience – Art Gallery of Northumberland

In partnership with Northumberland Tourism, the Art Gallery of Northumberland is launching the 'Art of Wellness' experience with Yoga classes. Find your Zen and unwind while surrounded by engaging works of art within the AGN’s newly renovated gallery space. Your Yoga instructor is Caren Cooper-Bridel from East Studio.

Free Family Day Fun at The Cobourg Lions Community Centre
Cobourg Lions Community Centre (157 Elgin St E.), Saturday, February 18, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Lions Club of Cobourg welcomes everyone this Saturday to a free and fun event featuring games, face painting, prizes, and balloons. Meet Chase from Paw Patrol and other special characters! There will be a free lunch with hot dogs, chips and juice. A bin will be available for nonperishable food.
Family Day Open House

Family Day Festival

Fellowship Baptist Church invites the public to join its Family Day Festival on Monday, February 20, for a day of indoor and outdoor fun for all ages from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Some of the free activities you'll find include tobogganing, horse drawn carriage rides, campfires and s'mores, games, face painting, a balloon artist, crafts, scavenger hunt, free lunch and snacks, board games, prizes, music and more!
