Cobourg, ON (Issued September 29, 2016 at 10:45 a.m. EST) – The Town of Cobourg Recreation and Culture Division will be hosting a public meeting on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 to engage the public regarding the development of a Parks and Recreation Strategy and Implementation Plan.
The Town of Cobourg has been undergoing a study to develop a Parks and Recreation Strategy and Implementation Plan to build capacity in its sports and recreation programming. The goal of this project is to have a long-term strategy to be used as a guide in developing recreational programs to enhance the diversity of opportunities afforded to residents and visitors of the Town of Cobourg.
Citizens are invited to attend a public meeting to provide their feedback on the draft of this plan. The public meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm in the Cameco Room at the Cobourg Community Centre, 750 D’Arcy Street, Cobourg.
The Public Meeting will consist of a presentation by the Town’s consultant followed by an opportunity for the public to ask questions and provide feedback.
