Public invited to share their feedback through a new Engage Cobourg survey
Cobourg, ON (September 15, 2022) – The Cobourg Fire Department (CFD) in partnership with the Town of Cobourg Communications Department is pleased to announce the launch of a new survey for the Fire Master Plan on Engage Cobourg, the Town’s online public engagement platform designed to gather feedback and comments from residents.

CFD responds to a variety of calls that may include general assistance/information inquiries, to responding to emergency incidents such as motor vehicle collisions, fires, water rescue, or medical emergencies.

In ongoing efforts to ensure the fire department is meeting the needs of the growing community, the CFD is creating a fire services plan to guide operational improvements and ensure the optimization of services to the community.
To accomplish this, the CFD has engaged Emergency Management Group Inc. (EMG), to assist with this initiative. EMG is a consulting firm that has worked with many fire departments in developing their fire master plans, station assessments and fire service reviews. To supplement the fire services plan, EMG has created this community survey to collect input from the CFD’s valued residents.
