VentureZone

The Venture13 VentureZone is a flexible co-working and accelerator space delivered by Northumberland CFDC, whose offices adjoin the VentureZone.

Membership in the V13 VentureZone offers technology startups and early-stage innovation-driven enterprises flexible office infrastructure, fibre connection, secure 24/7 access and other superior amenities, including, for physical technology startups, access to the V13 MakerLab (additional fees apply).

Membership in the VentureZone is prioritized for availability to approved clients of Northumberland CFDC. The reason for this is that normally we need to see that your venture is duly established under the laws of Ontario and that you have a basic business and marketing plan in place with clear, measurable objectives that we believe we can effectively support through our programming. Partner companies will normally be with us up to 24 months, after which we will support your local spin-off and business expansion (ideally into Northumberland and Eastern Ontario).

Dedicated Desk

Dedicated Desk ($150/month, minimum two month commitment)

Members receive:

One fully furnished dedicated seat in the VentureZone co-working space with frosted Plexiglas dividers, an ergonomic chair, and locking filing cabinet
Wireless internet (fibre connection)
Unlimited access to colour printer/copier
Access to private meeting space (booked as available, on a first-come, first-serve basis)—conditions apply
Discounted rates on booking Innovation Commons facilities
Mail and parcel collection
Other superior amenities including, for physical technology startups, access to the V13 MakerLab and Innovation Commons (additional fees apply)

Private Office

Private Office ($500/month, minimum three month commitment)

Members receive:

Fully furnished dedicated private office with sit-stand desk, ergonomic chair, task chair, lockable filing cabinet, and mounted TV with HMDI connection
Wireless internet (fibre connection)
Unlimited access to colour printer/copier
Access to private meeting space (booked as available, on a first-come, first-serve basis)—conditions apply
Mail and parcel collection
Other superior amenities including, for physical technology startups, access to the V13 MakerLab and Innovation Commons (additional fees apply)

Private office with desk, chair, mounted television monitor and notebooks within Venture13 VentureZone

Membership Duration

VentureZone memberships (seats and offices) are required to be a minimum of 2 months and will normally have a duration of no more than 60 consecutive months, in order to ensure the provision of co-working and acceleration space for future Members of the V13 VentureZone.
